Heating and Air Conditioning Mechanic & Installer Preapprenticeship Program
The Construction Preapprenticeship program prepares individuals to enter a short-term training program that leads to a rewarding career pathway. It combines college coursework, mentoring, and paid wages ($14-$15) per hour. Preapprentices receive free tuition, Free books, and health insurance while on-the-job training. During classroom instruction, participants will learn OSHA safety, blueprint reading, tool usage and other trade skills for a job in construction. Upon program completion, apprentices will receive a nationally recognized Certificate of Completion, with the opportunity of earning an industry recognized credential.
The Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Preapprenticeship program is a one-year program where a journey worker will teach you the basic knowledge of HVAC systems and methods, HVAC safety standards and protocols, preventive maintenance, and problem solving and trouble shooting skills. This program combines classroom instruction, mentoring, and on the job training. Upon completion you will receive a culmination of one or more industry recognized credentials.
