What does changemaking mean to you? How do you define what changemaking is to someone who's never heard the term?
Changemaking to me means stepping out of your comfort zone to do everything in your power to be an example by fighting for a cause that you believe in.
Why do you consider yourself a changemaker? What issues are at the center of your changemaking work?
I would consider myself a change maker because I am not afraid to put myself in an uncomfortable situation where I know a wrong is being unreasonable. The fight for justice is not simply saying but it is actually doing without easing. Some key issues that are at the center of my change making work is Immigration, environmental health, and gender equality.
To be a changemaker, it is important to...
Be open to learning from others and know that it is bigger than you.
What would you tell a student who would like to start their journey as a changemaker?
Just start it’s ok if you don’t know what you’re passionate about yet. You just being in the room and around people that can guide you is a great way to aid you in your journey.
