Lawrence Paul Embil is a cybersecurity and AI executive who has spent 25 years turning complex cybersecurity operations into efficient, automated systems. He currently directs Miami-Dade County's Security Architecture, Risk and Compliance, and Incident Response functions across SCADA/OT, election systems, and Smart City projects, leading an innovative team that has eliminated tens-of-thousands of hours of manual work through AI orchestration and process engineering.
In 2017 he founded Strato.AI, advising startups, venture capital, and private equity firms on security-aligned growth and sourcing $7M in Series A funding for an international client. He instills a Deming and Kaizen culture that compounds efficiency gains across every team he touches. He has served in CISO, Chief AI Officer, and Global Director roles spanning Fortune 200, government, and academia. He currently holds CISSP, CAIO, CCSP, PMI-ACP, ITIL, CISA, CISM, CCSE, and CEH certifications.
