Admissions

MDC students graduating from the Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology (ECET) will attain eligibility to be accepted into the Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) or Master of Science in Computer Engineering (MSCpE) at FIU.

  • Students wishing to utilize this agreement must complete the BS ECET at MDC with a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher.
  • Students must complete all upper and lower division engineering curriculum requirements for the BS ECET as listed in Appendix A of agreement to meet minimum eligibility requirements for FIU’s MSEE or MSCpE degree admission.
  • Students must meet all graduate admission requirements for the catalog year in which they apply for the MSEE or MSCpE programs at FIU.
