TRIO Educational Opportunity Center

The TRIO Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) at Miami Dade College is a federally funded grant program that provides college, career, and financial aid advising at no cost to eligible Miami-Dade County residents.

Whether you are graduating high school, want to earn your GED, go to college, learn a trade, complete the FAFSA, explore careers, or return to school after years away, our advisors are here to help.

You do not have to attend Miami Dade College to receive services from TRIO EOC.

As a federally funded TRIO program, our mission is to expand access to postsecondary education and career opportunities, with a particular focus on individuals who are first-generation college students and/or meet federal income eligibility guidelines.

All TRIO EOC services are provided at no cost to eligible participants.

• College and academic advising
• Veterans and military-affiliated support
• Technical school, vocational programs, and apprenticeship application and enrollment support
• Support for newcomers to the U.S.
• International credential guidance
• Support for foster youth and individuals experiencing homelessness
• Financial literacy
