The deadline to register to vote in the November 3rd General Election is Monday, October 5.

How to Register to Vote *

There are two ways to register to vote in Florida: (1) online or (2) with a paper form.

Option 1: Register Online

Go to registertovoteflorida.gov to register online. You will need:

• Your Florida driver's license or Florida ID card (issued by DHSMV) use your most recently issued number
• The issued date of your Florida driver’s license or ID card
• The last four digits of your Social Security Number

If you don't have all of this information, you may print the paper form and mail it to your county’s Supervisor of Elections office, which only requires you to have either your Florida Driver’s License or State ID card OR the last four digits of your social security number (the online form required you to have both).

* Voter Eligibility Requirements

Before registering, confirm that you meet all of the following eligibility requirements:

• Be a citizen of the United States of America (only U.S. citizens have the right to register or vote in Florida)
• Be a legal resident of Florida
• Be a legal resident of the county in which you seek to be registered
• Be at least 16 years old to pre-register, or at least 18 years old to register and vote
• Not be a person who has been adjudicated mentally incapacitated with respect to voting in Florida or any other state (without having the right to vote restored)
• Not be a person convicted of a felony without having your right to vote restored
